Volvo Car South Africa (VCSA) has introduced a limited-time maintenance plan for its best-selling mid-size luxury SUV, the XC60, offering long-term peace of mind and lowering the cost of ownership.
For a limited period, all new XC60 models—including the mild-hybrid B5 and the Recharge T8 plug-in hybrid—will be covered by a seven-year/140,000 km maintenance plan (whichever comes first). This significantly extends the standard three-year/60,000 km plan and applies to all trim levels. The offer is available until the end of September 2025, while stocks last.
“Extending the maintenance plan of the XC60 reflects VCSA’s focus on long-term vehicle care and customer value,” commented Grant Locke, Managing Director at VCSA. “It forms part of our broader commitment to delivering an ownership experience that matches the quality of our vehicles and the needs of today’s drivers.”
Locally, the XC60 remains one of Volvo’s most popular models, combining advanced powertrains, cutting-edge technology, and Scandinavian design in a package that resonates strongly with South African drivers. “The XC60 recently became the best-selling model in the brand’s history. Since its launch in 2008, it has achieved more than 2.7 million global sales, surpassing even the iconic Volvo 240,” added Locke.
The maintenance plan covers all scheduled services, including labour, parts, and software updates, as per Volvo’s recommended service schedule, providing owners with added confidence and control over running costs.
While the standard maintenance plan remains competitive, this limited-time offer more than doubles the coverage period, reinforcing Volvo’s reputation for quality, reliability, and aftersales support.
The extended maintenance plan is available through Volvo’s national retailer network until the end of September 2025, subject to vehicle availability. Interested buyers are encouraged to contact their nearest Volvo dealer for more information or to secure one of the limited XC60 units available under this offer.
